First ever #bnInfenneclaunch party in Kolkata

We had the first ever bn-In launch party for the Bengali localisation team. This was a major event not only for us but also because it was one of a kind, never hosted by any community before. All credit goes to Biraj Karmakar for taking the initiative to organize such an event.Without him,it would have been impossible for Kolkata community to ever have such a meetup. There were other participants in this meetup which included:

Ayan Choudhury
Sumantro Mukherjee
Swarnava Sengupta
Debapriya Bhattacharya
Kumar Anirudha
Gaurab Patra
Sreemegha Guha
Dwaipayan Kundu
Koustav Samaddar
Srijib Roy
Sukanta Pal
Satwiki De

Our initial meetup was at CCD,Prince Anwar Shah Road where we all had a small introductory session in Bengali. All of us tried our best to not speak in English and mostly in Bengali since it was a community meetup.

Biraj discussed the rules of localization and all the problems we face while translating especially newcomers like me.Besides he ensured to point out our mistakes which I think made the rules quite clear. We were told what Fennec was and also what are the other areas we can contribute to.Thanks a lot for this much needed session Biraj.
We were distributed swags post this session and then moved to South City mall for the further meetup.

Post this, our community dinner was at Mainland China and also the cake cutting ceremony followed by photo sessions. We even recorded our individual videos where we speak about the event.

I hope we continue having such events as this motivates all the contributors. Thanks Mozilla for supporting and recognizing our hard work and endeavour.Till then.
